Pick something you would do for free and make that your career and you will never live a sad day in your life.

From Entrepreneurship to ADHD Advocate
AN UNCONVENTIONAL JOURNEY OF PASSION, CHALLENGES, AND DISCOVERY

I'm a father, husband, and Proud Red River Métis Citizen. As an ADHD advocate and entrepreneur, I founded the marketing agency Vantage, ventured into hospitality with A Little Pizza Heaven and The Goodwill Social Club, and supported local artisans through Made Here, a local gift shop now owned and operated by my amazing wife. My career is a mosaic of passion-led projects and community involvement, reflecting both the vibrant chaos and serene order of entrepreneurial life.

Diagnosed with ADHD later in life, I've focused on tailored resources for entrepreneurs, fostering an understanding that success is not one-size-fits-all. Sharing this knowledge, I aim to empower the neurodiverse in their entrepreneurial journeys, championing a personalized approach to mentorship and business growth.

Redefining Success

FROM UNCERTAINTY TO UNDERSTANDING IN THE NEURODIVERGENT ENTREPRENEURIAL JOURNEY

In the words of Neil deGrasse Tyson, "Pick something you would do for free and make that your career, and you will never live a sad day in your life." This sentiment rang true as I looked back on the projects I was drawn to. In 2018 I initiated a passion project called Made Here. It was a unique retail outlet showcasing products from local artisans. More than just a business, it was a charitable endeavour, raising $20,000 for children's charities in its debut year. However, the following years brought unforeseen challenges - from floods to global crises.

By 2022, the future of Made Here seemed uncertain. It was then that my wife, a former Vantage team member, stepped in. She was able to build the business in a way I couldn't, but in observing her journey in reshaping the business, I realized that we all face different hurdles. Every individual learns and comprehends differently. A one-size-fits-all approach often leaves many behind. Moreover, the abundance of choices, especially for budding entrepreneurs, can be paralyzing. The abundance of options often results in a paradox of choice, making decision-making a daunting task. When you are faced with too many options, you have no options at all.

This realization emphasized the need for a more tailored approach, especially supporting entrepreneurs facing unique barriers. Resources and mentorship must cater to individual needs and pace. After all, in the diverse landscape of business and learning, understanding and catering to unique challenges is the key to success.
